Aigerim Beketayeva graduated from the Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School in 2010. From 2010 to 2013, she was the leading soloist of the Baiseitova National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Since 2013 she is the prima ballerina of the Astana Opera Theatre. The artist’s repertoire includes leading solo parts in the ballets Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker by P. I. Tchaikovsky, Romeo and Juliet by S. S. Prokofiev, Spartacus by A. I. Khachaturian, Notre Dame de Paris by J.M. Jarre, Don Quixote and La Bayadere by L. Minkus, Giselle and Medora by A. Adam and others. Aigerim Beketayeva is also a guest ballerina of the Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre.
